“Really, when?”

“I don’t know, look in my book bag – there’s a letter!”

  1. Oh, woe. My heart goes out to you. Comb, comb, comb for your life…!!!
I had a nightmare the other night that I was combing my own hair and louse after louse was being brushed out (aaagh), then I found an even bigger, much more leggy and crawly bug, so I squished it but it wouldn’t die. I tried to grab a small twig to spear it with to kill it, only for that twig to turn out to be the knarly leg of another, completely different and massive bug which wasn’t happy that I was grabbing its forelock.
I woke up, shouting. I am not happy at the thought of head lice.

  2. That’s gnarly, not knarly, isn’t it?

  3. Ha, hilarious – last time we had a visitation, the kids managed to pass it on to both grannies – they were well impressed….. not 😉

  4. This is one of the funniest posts of the week – thanks for the laugh!

  5. I saw this post highlighted in the Tots 100 round-up this week. Short and sweet and very funny!

Thanks all for reading.. and laughing. Tom recently said “I wish head lice were extinct instead of woolly mamoths.”

  6. Hahaha! My nephew had a piece of writing up on one of the display boards at school which read: “My name is Joshua. My Daddy has a cat named sugar and my grandma is a doctor.” Neither of these is true.

I love it! Tom was in church with his auntie on Sunday when someone blew their nose. He looked around, wide-eyed and said: “Was that an elephant?” The lord moves in mysterious ways etc.

  7. I laughed so hard. The number of times I had similar conversations w both boys…couldn’t even count them. I love their misunderstandings.

  8. awww…this is so funny + made me laugh out loud!! we had our own horrific episode with the little buggers last winter. our aresenal for potential, future episodes is the robie comb- it zaps em straight away!
